Some of the best touring exhibits in the state. We came a few years ago for their frog exhibit, wow! It was more than I expected!

This is so good for a hike and is gorgeous! They also offer info on each of the plants and trees! Me and my family thought we passed it but it was actually in the back of aa neighborhood which I'm not complaining about the homes and gardens were beautiful!!

Hundreds of volunteers maintain and man the Dubuque Arboretum. A huge variety of roses, flowers, shrubs and trees all set in a well maintained property. Summer music entertainment, weddings and general nature enjoyment. Spend a few hours relaxing or walking around.

A wonderful quiet place that is free. The area was well kept with beautiful, colorful flowers. My wife and I were especially impressed with the roses, very beautiful.

The layout of so many types of plants is welcoming and educational--and free! Much parking is available. The Japanese garden is a bit more informal than others of the type, but it is well-laid-out and elegant, whether to learn more about plants or just to commune with nature.
