Great find, loved the Maquoketa exhibit and American Scene on Paper. Nice museum store, good choices for gifts.

Enjoyed a group presentation in the large theater on the second floor of the museum. Great acoustic and large white wall for power point presentation. Gift shop has a variety of unique items for one of a kind gifts. Definitely worth a visit!

We spent a few hours in this great museum. The exhibit they have right now about the town of Maquoqata is fabulous! Will be there till January. Don't miss it.

It really depends on what you want to see....I would say it takes at least 2 hours to see it all and enjoy the view of the Mississippi river.....
