It was a quick stop on our road trip and worth it for the view. There were only a couple other folks there when we went.

Interesting road up to the monument. Great view. Found the Love Locks interesting. The parking area was near-by the monument.

This is the best place to watch the sun go down. It overlooks the Missouri River and downtown Omaha. You can see for miles! The park is well kept. We love going up there.

The monument offers a panoramic view of Omaha, the Missouri River, Eppley Airfield and surrounding area. Markers and plaques tell the significance of the site to the Lewis & Clark Expedition as well as the source of the name for Council Bluffs, IA. I would...More

This is located in a residential area off the beaten path. It has a little park and I am sure the local residents know about it. But if you didn't know it was there you would never find it. The best thing about it is...More

People do get married here. I don't believe that there is room for a reception. The area is fairly small.
