The campgrounds here are nice but be prepared for lots and lots of bugs. The hiking trails aren't very impressive and some are covered in sand for the horses so makes it a bit harder and dirtier. You are not allowed to swim in the...More

I spent an afternoon hiking Tippecanoe with a buddy. Even though it was the week of Memorial Day, the Nature Center was closed. We hiked Trail #4, which was a nice walk in the woods. Next we did the short trail up to the Fire...More

I would have to rank it as my least favorite Indiana State Park. The highlight for me was the view at the top of the Fire Tower.

Buds are just on the trees but this place is unique and picturesque. The Tippecanoe river is a beauty not to be beckoned with. Only respect should be given to this 1938 wonder. Well maintained and natural at it's finest. So stop by and visit...More

I am a huge fan of Indiana State Parks. While Tippecanoe River is not my favorite (those would be Brown County and Potato Creek), I really did enjoy the peace and quiet it had to offer. I went to the waterfowl area and walked around...More

We went camping here with the grandkids and their parents. We had two sites, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We didn't feel like we were right on top of the next campsite. Some sites were small and some were big. Very, very quiet campground....More

We stopped just to have a quick picnic while driving thru the area. The nature center was ok, but not as nice as other state parks. Views of river were ok.

Our first time there; the campground is crowded (in the midst of all that Indiana farmland) with lots of trees. Trees sound good until you try to back your camper in - all the ones around us had scrape marks... Then there were the rednecks...More
