We were wanting to hang out at the Wabash River and found this park with a paved path into the woods that border the river.

The park & walking paths were much smaller/shorter than I anticipated, but it was nice, clean, felt safe, and there were clean bathroom facilities on site.

Walk is safe and clean. Shaded areas as well as areas in sun. Benches at different locations for resting if needed. Refreshing. Goes by Wabash River - and I love water!!!!

This a great place to go and get a little exercise, and it has some great places where you can stop and watch the river. It is the best local place to hike

What a lovely area for walking along the Wabash River ... with historical markers for brief reading respites to learn about the archaeological history of the river, the treaty ground, & the railroad. Wonderful that Wabash city leaders were astute enough to develop a park here!

There are several events that take place throughout the year here. Best is the Chili cookoff - that's just an amazing time! It's around the 3rd week of October every year... More

Hoosiers aren't typically "walkers." They're more of a drive to the mailbox sort of people. So this creating a walking path thing is sort of new territory if you will. However, this is a nice attempt to add some sort of healthy activity to your repertoire, or a healthy respite from all the pizza king pizza and hogies you just... More
