Supporting our heroes

This is a small memorial, but sometimes the smaller the site, the bigger the impact. This is a great place to honor our heroes. We support our military and Veterans.

My cousins were in town and wanted to see the commemorative brick for their dad so we visited the Military Honor Park. This "brick" idea is terrific and helps the Honor Park stay ope n and very inexpensive to visit. This is a wonderful thing to do in memory of servicemen or even those still alive who have served our... More

Nice park for the Vets. Near the airport. Got tanks and missles and a plane on a pedastal nearby. An eerie ode to the warlike hawks that used to run Amerika! On Memorial day, many take trinkets from the various wars and place them on the rim of the park. Hail to the Chief!!!!

Small entrance fee. Great exhibit inside and outside. The indoor museum was actually closed but since the caretakers saw so money folks viewing the outside exhibits they opened so we could tour the inside part of the museum. Great day to explore military history. Displays for all services.

Easy access from the bypass entering South Bend Regional Airport (SBN) A fitting tribute to all branches of our Military. Go inside and visit the MUSEUM.

This is a small memorial park by the airport. There is also a small museum as well. For those of us from the South Bend area, it probably has a different meaning than to those travelling thru. My father was a WWII pilot and he has a brick there as do several other fathers of good friends. When I go... More

My son and his family were flying out of South Bend and we had some time to kill before their flight. The grandson was fascinated to be able to see all the planes up close and got his picture taken with a couple of the items in the park.

My son who is 4 years old loves anything military and my daughter who is 2 years old follows right behind him in the love. We arrived and started taking pictures with our kids near the tanks and trucks etc. An older man... More
