While downtown staying at the Double Tree Hilton walked here which is only about a 2 min walk. They have great selection and retail area along with a huge seating area. I got several chocolate carmels. When we got back to the room found them to be just okay. Nothing really special especially for $20+ per pound. Still a worthy... More

This is a small but interesting chocolate factory. The tours are short but informative. If you are interested in learning more about chocolate, you can do that here. They have a nice little candy and gift shop attached. It is on the outskirts of town, so be a little careful in the area.

I called about an hour before an upcoming tour and specifically asked if they were making chocolate (otherwise we didn't want to go on the extended tour which costs money). The lady on the phone assured me chocolate was being made. We went on the tour upon this statement. All we saw in terms of chocolate being made was a... More

I have been to better factory tours. Maybe it was just our tour guide. This was just a job for her and she was a poor guide and the chocolates were expensive I thought. The pop Corn was good and only a $1. a bag.

The tour was fun, the best part was buying chocolate at the end. It is a good way to spend an hour in South Bend.

The Shop was very colorful and the candy is excellent, but the tour left something to be desired. Granted, it was the free 20-minute tour, but the guide was not the best. She talked too fast and is was often impossible to hear her. Brite, cheery and obviously knowledgeable, but not really effective. We've been on many tours but this... More

This was a surprise. The location is an old factory in an industrial area, both need updates. The location faded as a problem once the employees engaged. The tour was great, due again to the employee team leader, it was educational and entertaining. One more thing, the chocolate was great in all of its forms, colors and shapes.

As always the visit was very good and the young man who did the tour was exceptional. This group was a Navy Reunion Group and they loved the tour and of course the chocolate.

We enjoyed our tour of the chocolate factory. It was fun to see the chocolate being made into candies. The tour guide was fun and informative. We got a few free samples. The candy for sale in the gift shop was way overpriced, but it was definitely worth the stop.

We took the full tour which only costs$4. You get free samples, tour of their museum, baking, and packaging areas of the factory. We purchased the pumpkin pretzels, lemon pretzels and peanut butter chocolate bars. So good!
