This little zoo was great. Lots of hands on stuff. The staff was very friendly. There is a sweet little train ride. Prices were very affordable. All the animals looked healthy and well cared for. Was a great trip to the zoo.

Love this zoo and visit it regularly! One of my kids favorite day trip places to visit! They always love to see the kangaroos because you can get so close to them and can't see those just anywhere.

Perfect place to spend a couple of hours exploring the animals. There is also a few parks close by with picnic tables and small splash pad. On warm spring days, the animals are all out and about. For a small zoo, they have done a...More

My 21/2 year old grandson loves the zoo. The merry-go-round and train are big hits and the playground inside the zoo is a good place to burn off energy. Potawatomi is much better than the zoo it was when I was a child. There is...More

While visiting my son at college, we are enjoying the local sights. We tried the Potawatomi Zoo, which is a fun little mouthful of a name, just this past weekend. We were very pleasantly surprised at this small-ish zoo. It was very well kept, not...More

I stopped here with my family for a visit on Easter Sunday. The zoo wasn't crowded, most of the animals were out, and they were quite active. The zoo isn't very large, but I saw some animals you don't often see in the zoo. You...More

We love this zoo! It is a very nice zoo given the size of South Bend. Zookeepers always very friendly, animals well cared for and always something new going on. We will be members again next year!

We love visiting new zoo's, and this became a quick favorite. It's quaint yet offers alot of different animals. The exhibits allow you to get a close encounter, with most of the animals. The reptile house was a family favorite.

I looked at the zoo's website, members of the Potawatomi zoo get 50% off the Toledo Zoo admission, so I assume it would be reciprocal.

how big is this? some mentioned it's small, so for $10 per adult ($8 child) is it worth it?
