My wife and I traveled here in June and thoroughly enjoyed the refuge. This NWR is located in south east Indiana near the town of Seymour. There is no entrance fee but I would encourage you to purchase a current Federal Duck Stamp. Any NWR...More

This place is really beautiful, and you can drive through a lot of it. We saw baby turkeys crossing the road -- so cute! A definite place to check out when in Seymour.

I happened to be in Seymour for work and wanted to stretch my legs. They have a few shorter loop trails which were perfect. I just wish I had brought my fishing pole.

Stopped for a short visit on a beautiful summer day and it was spectacular. Very quiet, relaxing place to commune with nature.

They have so many options there. Great handicap trail for wheelchairs and strollers. Other trails for the more adventurous or wanting to see more. The road needed some help with all the potholes. But the trails were well worth it and a wonderful afternoon hike.
