A natural lake inside Madhabpur tea estate. So, it is surrounded by tea plantation. Had a nice walk, watch the beauty of nature, amazing fauna, leaves and birds. Many visitors. Reach to the top and have a great view. Don’t forget to take few photos and buy pineapple.

This place is basically a nice lake surrounded by green tea gardens, so the scenario is very beautiful undoubtedly. It takes 20-25 minutes driving from Lauachara National Park and the visit is worth it!

Beautiful lake in tea growing area. 5 minutes walk from car park to see lake but spend 1 hour or more to climb hills around lake to see beautiful views of tea plantations, the lilies on the lake and the Indian border in the far distance. Small cafe in car park to get a cup of tea or buy local varieties of teas.

We visited during monsoon when there aren’t lots of flowers. But during the sunny day we found some great views from the hill tops surrounding the lake. The lane itself is lovely to look at and sit by the side in the evening. It’s a peaceful place no doubt.

A guide might voluntarily tag along from the entrance and he is quite friendly and takes good photographs. You will find fresh lemonades on the way up. Be careful of muddy and slippery ground during monsoon.
