Had a great time at Spring Mill State Park. Went with extended family for the weekend. Stayed at the inn, went to the pioneer village, and hiked a couple trails. Food at the inn is iffy, but great location and nice old building.

Beautiful park hidden away that I only discovered a few years past. There are miles of hiking and horseback trails. A lake for fishing and an amazing Pioneer Village to explore. It’s as if you are walking back in time 150 years when you enter...More

Spring mill continues to be one of the hidden gems of southern Indiana. It’s often overlooked despite its unmatched way the environment makes you feel like you’re a million miles away.

Although the settlers village was closed when we visited we certainly enjoyed a self guided tour of a trip back in time and the beautiful fall foliage. The settlers village located in the valley of the park features a historic water mill and 19 other...More

A very pleasant park with a long scenic drive for those who don't want to hike. The hiking trails I saw looked to be very beautiful. The Pioneer Village is very interesting and doesn't take all day to see. The Inn was a great place...More

We take our grandchildren camping every year here locally at one of Indiana's state parks. This year we chose Spring Mill in Mitchell. This park is unique in that it has a pioneer village where people reenact how life was in the 1800s. The village...More

We had plenty of room to place our large tent and park our vehicle. There was room left to gather camp chairs around the fire pit and space for the picnic table to eat. There was also space to let the children play.
