We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the beach was...you would never know you weren't at the ocean! The zoo was nice also.

Spent the day at the beach. Laid back crowd. Clean sand. Well worth the $7 parking. Little bit chilly for August, but the views were amazing, especially if you have the energy to climb the dunes.

We had a great 2 days at the beach. Well groomed. Relatively inexpensive parking. Life guards on duty. Bathrooms could use a bit of upgrading.

It is a nice place to relax and enjoy the sand beach on Lake Michigan. Cost you almost nothing and you can spend whole day at the clean nice looking beach. If you got lucky you can get wavy water as we got last time....More

For only $7 this was an easy to access and wonderfully maintained beach area. Very few people there in the morning so it was perfect for a stroll to the lighthouse.

Fantastic beach with plenty to do. We only went to the beach but there is a bar and a splash pad. Lifeguards on the beach.

We traveled here for a family getaway before school starts and this park is beautiful. So many things to do here (playground, zoo, splash pad, picnic, beach) and you pay $7 to park and that's all day. You can come and go as you please....More

We enjoy this park, especially the Thursday night free concert. The park has always been clean, safe, and family friendly.

There are restrooms at the beach, probably a few hundred feet from the beach.
