This is a small but nice zoo. I wish the animals had more room in their enclosures. Staff does a good job maintaining the zoo. There is a lookout tower where you can see Lake Michigan. Bird exhibit is nice.

Great place for an afternoon stroll with the family. Little factoids remind you of all the things you learned about animals growing up.

The parakeets can be fed during the zoo's regular season and normal operating hours. But they must be fed only with the food available at the zoo. Remember to wash your hands after feeding.
