A wonderful place to stroll through beautiful surrounding, seeing the different types of gardens presented here. They are the result of many hours of dedication by different groups or individuals and are so worth seeing and enjoying.
The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The children's playground is outstanding. The amount of plantings is lacking compared to all of the botanical gardens I have ever been to. I would classify this as a garden of sorts as opposed to a true botanical garden.
We walked all the trials and saw all the gardens. We saw a pileated woodpecker up close and personal! Was surprised by this sighting. You have to experience this small pace of heaven right off the highway. I would go here again. Delightful.
LOVED our visit to these gardens! Beautiful setting and landscaping. Especially loved that it;s being rehabbed from the turn of the century -- you could feel the history and ambiance of days gone by. Can't wait to come back!
