Um, very disappointed. Yes, they were nice cars - loved the Delorian. No, I didn't appreciate the fact that it's owned by a rich local doctor and his family and they are charging admission to see their parked cars!!!! No, it's not cool. The name is also misleading. It should be named, Kesling's Auto Mart.

My husband and I took our sons to the museum one chilly spring day. I am a native to LaPorte but had not been to the museum since it was in the County Complex building. It was such a wonderful surprise. All of the wonderful exhibits I remembered from when I was a child were still there and so many... More

Staff is very friendly and the curator has helped me in the past when I did research. Many items have a local county connection. Along with the county historical collection is a privately owned display of antique and vintage automobiles. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

While the local artifacts are nice, the handgun collection is one of the most unique in the country. And...there are not many places where a Tucker automobile is on display.

It was on a lark that my wife and I decided to stop in here one day. Great decision. Beautiful mansion. I was a little surprised by the price of admission because the last two smaller county museums we were in did not charge anything...they just asked for a donation. We found out it was worth the price. You would... More

Great place to spend a few hours. Took a boy scout troop, and our guide managed to keep Tiger Cubs interested for over an hour which is pretty impressive. Very cool cars and lots of local history.

I needed to find something to do with my Dad when he was visiting, we had a couple of hours to kill while other family members were busy. It was a wonderful way to find things to talk about. They exhibits change regularly and the staff is so friendly.

This museum is a true historical walk through time; it has a LOT of cars, but so much more! If you have a few hours to spend, you won't regret it

Went by here to try and get some info on my Dad who was a football player in LaPorte back in the 1940's. Was directed to a guy who also played for the Slicers and had actually coached them as well. He took time out to help my wife and I find data about my Dad and to find out... More

This was a surprisingly large and well maintained museum. The collections are outstanding. The vehicle collection alone is worth the drive since Laporte is a bit out of the way. They actually have a 48 Tucker which was something I wasn't sure I'd ever see. We were very pleased and will frequent again when in the area
