Must visted, although it takes time to reach it, but nice and big castle, also has many interesting subjects inside, you can water going inside most of the ground fkior, old cooking pots, on roof you can see the town and the big foag area, also room fir Imam, geusts, and thier children rooms, the nice thing that you don't need a guide, you take the small instruction instrument and click the code beside the place it will till tyou the whole story about it, dont forget to have the arabic coffee in the garden which done and served to you by the Omani kind people there.…

My first fort in Oman, and as others have said, the outside may not be very impressive, but the inside is great. Rooms are restored, some furnished, and some have architectural decorations. And the ticket guy, with his dates and coffee (and complimenting my Arabic) made it very welcoming.…

Al hazm castle is an amazing view of Omani History- Must visit. For old aged person, it may be bit difficult to reach up to top floor, however they can enjoy put their comfort level. Very peaceful and gives amazing view of Rustaq city from top. It gives a glimpse of Omani traditions and history.…

Al Hazm Castle was built around the beginning of the 18th century, it had been under renovation for a few years and was recently re-opened to the public. The castle has ground floor, first floor, and roof top, each floor has its function, they exhibit kitchen pots and pans, jails, and prison tower, Quran classroom, living quarters and canons. That was interesting sight to see how they lived long ago. Happy Travelling!…
