From turtles to red hots to the warmth and friendliness of the staff, Schimpffs is the best place in Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky! They even have a real soda fountain and lunch!

This family owned candy store still makes candies the old fashion way, and thier setup allows you to view the process. Take in a tour or just stop in to buy some candy or take in the small deli - you simply won't regret spending some time in this one of a kind place. Suitable for all ages! Even us... More

My husband and I recently visited This candy store and museum. While there, they demonstrated how to make "red hots" candy...how interesting plus we were all given a warm sample. Delicious. It was a fun place to visit ..

Visiting here is like a step back in time! Not only is the candy A#1delicious, but the store itself is a veritable museum. We got homemade peanut butter cups, red velvet dried cherries, black forest truffles, Schimpff's signature red hots, and milk chocolate covered caramels. Oh, my, my....just talking about it makes me want to drive the few hundred miles... More

Shimpffs is nearly world famous for its homemade candies especially the red hots! Carmel apples and chocolates are to die for! Don't miss out on this one!

The kids loved it!! I homeschool my kids and we wanted a field trip. They were so accommodating even to such a small group. They usually give a free cinnamon candy sample. YUM!!! There's so much history to be learned there as well. It's a win win!! My kids are 8, 14 & 16. They all had a great time.... More

The candy was good but the history was better! What an amazing story of one family's craftsmanship. I enjoyed seeing all of the unique candy molds. We were on a tour and spent an enjoyable time there.
