Always a delightful walk along the canal and river. We walked all the way to the zoo this time. Make sure you stop at the small arboretum near the zoo. Has nice tropical feel and ever growing large plantings. All the museums along the park...More

Quite close to downtown and museums, lovely open green spaces.... Very well maintained. It's very clean and easy to walk. Saw several people with dogs, so it seems dog friendly

Getting her is quite easy but you do have to pay for parking. The cheapest I found was $3 for an hour but they have better rates if you want to stay longer. You can start with the small souvenir shop/tourist center at the entrance....More

refreshing exhibit in the state museum, a very wide open space for walk & chat; very close to IUPUI campus; a super nice escape from work either during weekdays or weekends.

This park is very safe and offers miles of walking. It offers concerts different times a year. It easy assessable from all downtown locations. It's free except for the events which vary in price. It's sits along the white river and is very appealing.More

This is an answer I can't 100% back because the smoking laws are forvever changing in Indiana but yes. I am a smoker and have smoked on the grounds and have seen many smoke there as well as recently as about 3 weeks ago... More
