My son and I like to travel. This historic home was a good place to visit. We enjoyed the trip during the month of December because the home was decorated for the holidays. I love that this house was so well preserved and kid friendly for touring.

If you a historical junkie, this is the perfect haven for you. Boasting three levels of history, pay a small fee and take the tour. You get to touch many things and a large percentage of everything inside the home was used by the Harrison family. During that time, there was even a letter inside of the library that was... More

Had a wonderful tour guide, Jane, who was a former social studies teacher. She had in-depth knowledge about the president and his family. Gave us the wonderful history of the home and its family.

The volunteer guides are very informative. Every room has been decorated for the holidays. The house is a magnificent Victorian right here in Indianapolis. Even the door hinges are ornate. The carpenters and craft-men who built the home did a knock out job on the stair railings, book cases, floors and crown moldings. Mrs. Harrison was an amazing artist. Her... More

The house was a wonderful lesson in history involving the family that lived in Indianapolis and in the White house.

I enjoyed this stop while visiting Indianapolis. I didn't know a lot of the history surrounding Benjamin Harrison, and this place was fully of facts and anecdotes surrounding our 23rd president. Our tour guide was really good and knew his stuff. From Benjamin Harrison's personal story, to his accomplishments as president. It was very interesting and I learned a lot.

Very nice home to visit. The curator gave us the tour. I bought tickets online for a Sunday, which I didn't realize it was closed, but somehow it let me purchase them, and since she and others were there cleaning, the curator honored those tickets and gave us a tour anyway! We were leaving town that afternoon, so coming back... More
