I attend a convention held here yearly in August. There have been previous years with a large amount of construction that hampered movement and space in the center, but that construction has paid off. The Convention Center is more spacious and easy to navigate than...More

If you enjoy board games, card games, electronic games, tournament games etc, this is the best and biggest convention I have been to. Over 60,000 people attended this year. Basically downtown Indianapolis turns into game central for 4 days. An actual dungeon exploration experience was...More

This place is huge! Indianapolis is such a great city for Gen Con, and even with all of the traffic (it is a huge convention, what do you expect) it was surprisingly easy to get in and out of the city center. The convention center...More

Gencon was awesome! The crew at the convention center are great. Food there is ok, but they make up for it by having food trucks available right outside. They did the American Chemical Society conference really well a few years back, too.

Great space for hosting the 60,000 people of Gen Con each year. Plenty of connected downtown hotels and lots of dining options nearby. Also appreciated the large number of easy to find restrooms. The dining options within the convention center are just "okay", but hey,...More

An overwhelmingly huge event property but exceptionally well managed. Will Call was a nightmare but thankfully we had our tickets early. Great facilities. Never Waited for a bathroom despite over 60K in attendance as so many options.

Went from room to room watching warm ups for drum/bugle corps competition. Fascinating!!! There is always something to do or see when we go there. A surprise every time.

The convention center is Huge!. My friends and I went to GenCon for the first time in 2016 after going to Pax Prime the last few years. The facilities are very well maintained and well laid out.

Huge! I attended a very large game convention there. I was there for 2 days and didn't get everywhere. I heard there were 60,000 gamers. Plenty of places to get food and plenty of restrooms.

The JW Marriott is also connected via skywalks to the convention center. Hard to find a better connected convention center when it comes to hotels.

As stated: the Westin, the Hyatt, and the Crowne Plaza are all connected to the ICC via skywalk, but the JW Marriott is also. It is a double skywalk, with a passageway alongside a garage (you do not go into the garage).
