Very unique and beautiful building. Made of Indiana limestone with great carvings. The Museum down stairs is well worth the visit. Part of The Indiana War Memorial Plaza Historic District.

It's might seem cool and interesting from the outside, but you don't know what your in for if you don't go inside. We saw so many people exercising on these stairs. The memorial is massive. Many photo ops in the surrounding area.

The downtown is easy to maneuver around, we enjoyed walking to many sites downtown Indy. The beauty of this Indiana marble is exquisite. Loved the stairwells and attention to details.

Every year when I visit Indianapolis I make sure to visit the memorial. It is so beautiful, the entire circle is bustling, food, hotels and just about anything else you could need are all close. This is a great photo spot as well as a place to teach the next generation about the wars.

In downtown Indianapolis, stay an extra hour or less to visit this impressive memorial. It is very well conceived and executed.
