I'm glad my daughter had heard good things about this museum. We definitely enjoyed it. We went when the "Dream Cars" exhibit was there. I'm glad we did. I'd recommend going to this museum , especially at a time when an exhibit that interests you is there. Things are a little spaced out, so in some ways, the museum felt... More

This museum is definitely worth seeing. Permanent displays are extensive and will require many hours to properly appreciate them. Check for special touring exhibits and concert schedules as well.

We planned on a short stop to view the Fashion Exhibit with our friends per their recommendation. We stayed and went through several others. Highly recommend the one on Craft and the one on cars was awesome. Huge problem and frustration was we ran out of time. Next time we will set aside a whole day.

The museum felt really large, and because the exhibits were so spaced apart, it felt empty at time, like they "needed more". On the other hand, the ones I did see were very interesting, but it just didn't seem like "enough". I did enjoy the large paintings and the stained glass by Tiffany.

Our family was in town for a special event at the Zoo and decided to visit the Museum of Art the next day. We began with the outdoor sculpture area as we arrived before the museum itself opened. The walk was a great way to take in several larger pieces in a different environment, though it does turn into more... More

This was our second time here. My teenage daughters wanted to come again after the park was featured in a teen movie. The park is a fun, free attraction. The sculptures in the park are all amazing and there were many new ones to see, since our last visit. You could spend hours here walking around and enjoying the art.... More

by far one of the best museums I have visited in a long time. Beautifully designed with stunning grounds, lush and lovely. Handsome signage throughout the museum and easy to get around. Great shop and common areas. the Contemporary Industrial Design exhibition was stunning...FAR better than MOMA...make sure to take an entire day to visit...far too much to see in... More

One of my goals is to visit all the great art museums of the USA, and I'd include this one in the list without hesitation. I spent a very full 3.5 hours here, and that was without wandering the grounds with their endless trails. It's an encyclopedic collection, covering everything from Pre-Columbian art works up to a fantastic modern design... More

We come here several times a year. I love the special exhibits with the free set of headphones. You leave your drivers license to use the headphones. They always set up an interacting activity with the special exhibit. One thing that we like to do is go to the cafeteria on the main floor and take our food outside by... More

The grounds are beautiful. There is a tram to take you around the grounds. The collections are very good. The Dream Cars exhibit is outstanding. The cafe was very good.
