I grew up in Indianapolis and remember this museum when it was so much smaller, it was great to bring my children and have a chance to see what an awesome facility it is now

I would allow 3-4 hours. There maybe certain areas that don't interest you or the kids and you can skip those areas.

Are there in and out privileges with admission? Would love to go for the morning and return after nap time without having to pay twice!

I would think you can, but I would call them before hand and ask. They were very nice and helpful when I called with a few questions. You might also check their website, I know they had free and discount days when I took... More

There are salads available in the food court. I saw many families with lunch boxes in the food court so that may be an option
