The volunteers are very knowledgeable. You can tell they are passionate about the history of the town. One volunteer, Allen, was a pilot of the planes once built here. You will not be disappointed by this museum!

Turns out Evansville produced more WW II war materiel than any other city in the US. A well presented display of the LST’s, P-47 fighter aircraft, ammunition and 300 other items manufactured there during the war. A very worthwhile visit!
