We took guided tour today. Im not from area; but this was an excellent 45 min tour of past/present history of state of Indiana. The tour was $6 (per person) not strenuous at all. Anyone could do this tour.

Downtown Corydon provides an excellent lesson in Indiana's history! Within one square block is the first State Capitol building, monuments to the Civil War Battle of Corydon, significant antislavery legal battles at the Harrison County courthouse that's also on the grounds,, and a wonderful sculpture...More

This area of Corydon around the capital building is gorgeous at Christmas. The light display at night is very fairytale like. Enjoyable by all ages. The older buildings in the area allow exploration of Indiana and of Corydon as the state's first capital.

There are plenty of historical marker signs around this site. We enjoyed reading all the history and seeing the sites.
