I was visiting Columbus and went for a nice run in the park and the riverfront walking path. Located on the north end of town and 5th street, it's also along the river. There is a tower that has great views of Columbus, looking down 5th Street.

Mill Race Park is a nice park along the White River. Very scenic with paved walking trail along the river. Shelters and BBQ grills. Mill Race Park was the location of the 1974 sightings of the "Mill Race Monster".

A nice park. We walked around a little and took a few pictures. It was very hot and humid for October first so we didn't get to really appreciate the park.

We enjoyed the water scenery as we walked around the park. There were areas to enjoy a picnic lunch and also go for a run the the beautiful wooded slopes.

This park has about 3 miles of trails that you can walk or bike, much of which is riverside. There are also a circular pond with benches around it, a stage, a 7-story tower you can climb for panoramic views, a covered bridge, boardwalks, and fishing. One word of warning: the restroom stalls have no doors.
