This is a great bike trail with a slight upgrade going from West to East. The scenery is great, while traveling along a cool creek during the Summer. Look for wildlife too.

Great scenery and a nice, wide pathway to walk, run or ride your bike. I have not been the entire distance, but from the miles that I have walked & biked it was a smooth path with plenty of room. Just remember to stay on...More

After two years of planning, my daughter and I got to ride the Milwaukee Road (or Haul Road) Trail in and around Bedford Indiana. My previous residence was in Bloomington, and I doubted this could beat the B-Line Trail there for interpretive character or exercise,...More

We rode the approximately 11 miles out and back to Williams IN. The trail was well maintained (friends we rode with said community volunteers take care of this) - ie - I didn't notice any trash (short of an abandoned refrigerator near the Williams end),...More

Easy hiking or bike trail with nice views of the river after a few miles. I've seen as many as a dozen deer at a time, plus the usual squirrels, chipmunks, hawks, woodpeckers, etc. I have also seen a coyote and a few snakes.

The trail is well maintained and has great scenery. It's a wonderful place to get away from it all and just enjoy the beauty.

This trail is well kept and beautiful. It's relaxing to walk and run along side the river. The bridge provides a great place to sit and reflect. One of my favorite local trails!

Lots of views and historical information. Only one caution, be awareness of possible reptiles in this area.

I trained for a mini-marathon on this trail and never ran out of space. Very well maintained. Bridges are great.

I believe there is a parking area to the south of John Williams Blvd. at X Street, south east of the large warehouse/factory.

There is a map on their Facebook page "Milwaukee Railroad Trail", but it's not great. You can park and start near the Bedford Armory (Wilson Park) or off John Williams Blvd. It's not a loop trail, so take into account that... More
