Just to let everyone know if you are planning to visit the first division museum and what to take pictures of the tanks outside the museum before September 2017 you will not. Unfortunately the tanks are all fenced in and the museum is closed.

As a member, invited to see the artifacts that will be enhancing the museum when the project is completed. This is a very high quality and thoroughly researched undertaking. A must see for anyone.

The First Division Museum has a wonderful display of WWII and Vietnam artifacts, with a walk-though section that is very realistic. The kids will love the outdoor display of tanks and cannon.

At first, I thought the museum was just an ordinary place. But my family and I got so interested when we saw the museum. We learned so much especially the US-Vietnam war.

We had a great time visiting the museum. Even though we have lived in the area for 20+ years, it was our first visit. Can't wait to see it again when the lobby is renovated!

Our museum is about a mile away from the Winfield train station. You could arrange for a taxi from the train station to Cantigny Park where we are located.
