Have found some info for NT to suggest that under 5s go free. Over 5s can have their £10 junior membership.

Coincidentally, looking through some literature from our West Country trip, I see that there is also a ferry to Dartmouth from Dittisham in case the latter is more convenient for you as a starting point.
