Spring Valley is a great place for an easy hike. The path that passes the cabin and goes to Historic 1880's farm was a wonderful adventure for $0.00.

Spring Valley is a gem in Schaumburg. Beautiful grounds, great programs and they have a new children’s playground. I love the living history farm. I was able to take a blacksmithing class there and I love the animals.

Not really a hidden gem as many know about it and use it regularly but it takes you out of the bustle of the suburbs just walking the trails and checking out native flora and fauna.

My husband and 22 year old daughter and I had a fabulous time. What a gem. We walked about 2 miles and enjoyed a beautiful day. Highly recommend. They appeared to be quite poplar with young families.
