I am a normal sized adult and the seat was pretty tight on me. The bathrooms are very outdated along with all the carpet and overall layout of arena. I felt like I was in a time warp. The acoustics were actually pretty good, but...More

Very impressed with the comfortable seating , acoustics , and visibility of the stage . Plenty of parking. The only drawback that I observed was the slow flow of traffic in entering and leaving.

Attended the Hall & Oats and Tears for Fears concert. My main reason was to see my favorite band Tears of Fears. They did not disappoint played all their best hits. We left after two songs of Hall & Oats. This venue is not one...More

Horrifically slow bar service. Waited 15 minutes in line and missed the opening song only to learn that I had to go to the OTHER bar for water. Didn't feel like there was AC on the second level, went out again to try for water...More

First time at the Allstate Arena and we were disappointed in the seating accommodations. Seats are extremely small, we felt like were on top of one another.

Loved the concert we saw, not a bad seat really. However, they are very narrow with little foot room. My feet were literally falling asleep. If you are a person of size, forget it. Stay up in the bar and watch from there.

The Arena was right beside our hotel so we didn't have to get there very early. They moved people in quickly. Staff was friendly enough. The bathrooms were nasty though, assuming it was beer on the floor rather than the alternative.

Attended an AHL game 2nd April, sat in upper bowl and was surprised how poor the sight lines were with relation to play on the boards nearest where you were sitting. Basically the seats aren't banked enough. Luckily the upper bowl was only 1/8 full...More

It was not organized. I got checked in and then told that I needed to go to the opposite gate to get my wrist band. They tried twice to send me outside to the back of the line. I finally ,after three attempts, found someone...More

The venue is pretty decent, smaller than I expected but giving everyone a good view even from the furthest seats. The event itself was magnificent. The employees, however, were unnecessarily rude. While one employee was checking my bag, she snatched my small can of pepper...More

1) Does security give you a full patdown upon entry? If I have a water bottle hidden inside my jacket, will security find the bottle? 2) If I buy bottled water at the Arena, will the person selling the water remove the bottle cap before giving me the water?

Honestly, I think it depends on the event. The very last event that we went to, we did have to go through the machines. But there was no patdown, so if it is a plastic bottle you shouldn't have a problem, especially if it... More

I will be attending a concert at the Allstate Arena with a walking disabled person. We were unable to obtain handicapped seating, however, we will be utilizing the services of a wheelchair escort. Does anyone know which row to choose in the 100 section if we'd like to avoid stairs? For example, Section 102 has Rows AA-N. If we chose Row N, would we be avoiding stairs? Not sure which row is level with entryway. Any insight would be appreciated!

I have always had good luck dealing with the people at the ticket counter across from Allstate Arena. They have the seating charts available to them and to you and they can point out what you need, so you can make a better... More
