Nancy, the tour guide who showed us around, shared much info about the history, architecture, and of this beautiful home in a lovely area of Quincy. She pointed out many details of the woodwork and stunning craftsmanship of the home. She did her research and...More

Your website is unreadable it's written in Foreign language, don't know when to go or how much, so sad would probably have visited very leery now.

We really enjoyed the videos of the history of buildings in the area. The collection of presidential autographs was also unique.

Spent a rainy afternoon (5/3/17) taking the guided tour of this fabulous 1890-1891 Richardsonian-Romanesque mansion in Quincy, IL, i.e., the Newcomb-Stillwell House. A very sweet young lady gave a well-researched guided tour of the impeccably decorated and designed main floor. Indeed, the 1st floor was...More

Fun all times of year. We have done the summer programs with American Girl dolls, spring and fall folk festivals, and Christmas celebrations

The place was small and quaint, but the tour guide was very friendly and polite. Really pretty views from the property.

A must see if you want to see the interior of a massive historic home. So many wonderful features and great tour. There is an elevator to the upper levels. (We could not get in the door via the accessible ramp, however; it was locked.)

I will be in Quincy in mid-September and look forward to going to the museum. What will your autumn hours be? Also, does the museum have the original front door façade to St. Mary's Hospital? Just curious as I was born there many years ago.

Hello, and thank you for asking. Unfortunately, I do not work at the museum so I can not answer your questions. Best that I can do for now anyway is to suggest that you Google them. I'm sure that their hours are online... More
