Visited Knoch Knolls Park in Naperville one August afternoon. The place is wonderful for outdoor enjoyment. There are many opportunities to keep oneself active here. We walked on the beautiful trails crossing over the DuPage River on two beautiful bridges. The trails are lovely with shade from interspersed. The paved trails are heavily used, but we did not see too many people on the unpaved nature trails. The trails are well marked. Lot of nice scenic places for photography. The Nature Center building and the surrounding prairie landscaping are very well done (did not go inside the building). There is an impressive children’s playground at the Nature Center.
Other recreational opportunities include a disc golf course and kayaking on the river. The longer DuPage River Trail goes by Knoch Knolls park. There is plenty of parking. Knoch Knolls Park is a wonderful place to enjoy nature.

Great place to visit for an hour or a day. Part of the Naperville Park District. There are kayak rentals available some times. Kayak a few miles up and down Du Page River West Branch to the confluence with the East Branch and beyond. Lots of wood chip hiking trails and paved biking trails to various spots along the river. Impressive indoor facility and park, and plenty of parking.

This is an outstanding place for a family to spend an afternoon. There are a variety of activities that families can take advantage of. Including a great children's playground, walking paths through the woods and a picnic.

We love this place, from the really fun playground to the walking and biking paths to the disc golf course to the nature center which is small but staffed with kind and knowledgable staff (and home to a turtle named Sheldon). The walk to the confluence of the branches of the DuPage River is lovely in all seasons.

This is our favorite local park. Pretty trails in the woods, nice disc golf course, great playground, pretty river with a bridge. We like to use Knoch Knolls for kayaking. There's a big parking lot, clean bathrooms and easy access to the river with a beautiful peaceful stretch that feels like you've travelled miles away. Great way to relax!

Knock Knolls is a pretty park, but it is spectacular in late April and early May. That's when the forest floor is carpeted with Virginia Bluebells. If you get to experience this, you will never forget it. To get to the bluebell area, cross the bridge over the DuPage River from the parking lot. After the bridge, there is a dirt path on your right. Follow this back into the woods. Most of the bluebells are a beautiful lavender blue shade, but if you're lucky you'll spot some white and pink ones. Enjoy your time here!

I live very close to the Nature Center and ever since it has been built I walk there every day! I love the playground for the kids and the area in the back is perfect for camping programs! Also I heard the preschool there is wonderful, as it incorporates elements of nature into the learning process. The inside is very modern and has a lot of things for kids to look at and explore.

This is a nice free mini nature museum that is fun to look at with young kids, and there is a playground outside. If you're planning on going to the park then you should really stop in and see what they have. But I wouldn't make a long drive just to see it.

Loved this place for its nice scenic beauty. Dupage River with its rich flora & fauna, well maintained pathways, the prairies, etc are so inviting that you can’t resist going for a walk everyday. And don’t forget to carry your camera with you.
