A beautiful museum on a huge estate. The building itself is lovely and airy. Unfortunately, we were there between exhibits. But their permanent collection includes Cassatt and several Ashcan artists. You can also tour the 90 acres of land, filled with quality outdoor sculptures. Unfortunately, most must be seen by walking. It would be nice to be able to drive... More

I had no clue Mt. Vernon had such an impressive facility as this. Being from upstate I am very impressed how well maintained, clean and the impressive works of art in which this facility has on display. The people I met there were all very friendly. Even you are not an art lover, Cedarhurst is well worth a stop to... More

We enjoy Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, the main building and Art center plus in nice weather just walking the grounds. There are so many art pieces outside, the lake, and just beautiful trees. The winter time is nice too, especially in snow for the photographer. Our grandchildren love to go there as there are many things to entertain them... More

We love going to Cedarhurst events. TNL, The Happening, Art and Coffee talk and so many others. They are not just the place to go to a craft fair once a year! There are so many activities for families and couples.

This center is a wonderful experience for anyone interested in the arts. They provide all the arts from music, from classical to jazz, art(including fiber, metal, pottery, painting). Modern to classical. This is an opportunity to expose yourselves and your children to things normally reserved for the big city.

From its earliest days 30+ years ago as the Mitchell Museum to the Cedarhurst Center for the Arts and more today, this is one venue our town has helped to grow! The exhibits throughout the years have been more than wonderful. The Museum's own collection is most notable. The complex is a place for meditation, a place for summer socials,... More

This museum is a nice surprise. The current exhibits were wonderful. The regular indoor collection was also nice. The outside sculptures are very fun to see. If you like to take a walk around the grounds they are scattered about. If you like to take nature walks and see neat sculpture this outside exhibit is just for you. For the... More

My partner Dave & I come every year in Sept. to visit family. It has become a tradition to hit the Cedarhurst Craft Fair while we're here. It's been our 11th visit. We always find interesting must haves. It would be nice to see some new artist & we miss seeing some of the past artist. The food is good... More
