I have MS. I'm mobile & use a stick, but can only walk short distances without needing to sit down. This place is ideal! There are three walks of varying lengths along the edge of a lake which are all flat & accessible, one of them a boardwalk in amongst the reeds. There are hides around the walks where you... More

We visited RSPB Conwy reserve after mistaking it for another nature reserve I had visited many years earlier. Whilst this took us by surprise, the reserve itself is lovely and great for a gentle stroll through nature. Now, neither of us are birdwatchers, so some of this was lost on us, but it is still a lovely place to spend... More

We always stop over at the RSPB Aberconwy reserve when passing. It never fails to provide a good walk around the wide variety of birds in the different natural environments around the reserve.

Plenty of space to park. Nice little coffee shop with gorgeous views of the mountains. They have a children's play area. Lovely walk around the lake. Really like looking in the hides at the birds on the water. My favourite bit is the boardwalk 👍🏻

One of the best reserves. Been every time stayed in the area. Good for wading birds and plenty of other habitats as well.Good for walking as well. Large car park & shop. Recommend even if not a huge bird lover.

As members of the RSPB, my family and I enjoy visiting here regularly. It's a lovely place to bring children and adults alike! You can either walk inside, or around the outsides. They have a shop where they sell all sorts of books, leaflets, binoculars and nicknacks. They have toilets on site. There's also a cafe and outdoor play area... More

Well worth a visit for £5 each. The longest way round is just under two miles and we saw lots of wild birds including white and grey heron shelducks oyster catchers tufted ducks waders willow warblers and others. A number if hides to look out of. The staff were great telling us all about the reserve and its history. There... More

The RSPB is a fabulous place to take the kids to teach them respect for wildlife, to enjoy the outdoors, play in a fabulous play area and learn something about the environment in which they live. There are often events such as 'pond dipping' or 'Messy Muddy' days and teamed up with a visit to one of the several bird... More

My partner and I visited the reserve on Good Friday as part of a day trip to North Wales. We had visited before and were impressed with the whole set up. There's a café on site with a good selection of light bites and the views of Snowdonia are just breath taking. During our visit we completed the circuit around... More
