The day we went was threatening rain, but we were extremely lucky to have had it dry during our visit. The wind was whipping across the estuary, which made it more exciting watching the clouds scudding across the sky. This is a well laid out...More

Came here with family for a walk. It is a lovely spot for a walk. You can walk into Colwyn Bay from here and get magnificent views of the castle. I use a mobility scooter and the terrain was perfect. Nice wide paths. Would recommend...More

This is a lovely place to take a walk. The reserve is alongside the Conwy estuary. Plenty of bird hides. Conwy Casle and the mountains are part of the backdrop. A few wild ponies. Lovely cafe aver looking a large pond.

A very relaxing place where the RSPB has built a very good hide with large windows next to toilets and café. There is a path around the lake but the weather was too bad whilst we were there to use, so the hide was wonderful....More

Hi Debena, I'm afraid we don't permit dogs on the reserve at Conwy, as we have ground-nesting and roosting birds, and also otters. There are lots of nice dog walks nearby, including north along the estuary from the reserve... More
