We try to go walk here as often as possible. There is a good variety of different paths, of different lengths, to walk or ride a bike. In the fall, the autumn colors are gorgeous. There are also a fishing lake, park headquarters building, and picnic areas.

This park has great trails for walking and bike riding. We got every year and cross on the path to go by the dam. It's very scenic. If you cross by the dam and go on that section of trails there are a lot of turtles. If you go in the Spring be careful of baby deer.

Moraine Hills State Park has marked trails, picnic areas, plenty of parking, ponds. The trails are different lengths with easy walking or biking. You can sometimes see wildlife. There are plenty of birds. Trails and underbrush are well tended.

Took a walk around the yellow loop near the dam. Probably saw about 40 turtles during the walk. That was good to see.

My husband and I love to go fishing and have a pic nik there, it's so peaceful and relaxing, we try to get out twice a month to fish together, due to our bust schedules.

My husband and I walk here daily except during hunting season with our two dogs. There are a variety of trails and it is seldom crowded. Doggy waste bags are provided. Naturally you want to wear insect repellent since it is outdoors. As a female I would only walk by myself here if I had one of the dogs with... More

I live just down the road from here and visit it a few times a week to walk my dog. It's a great place for a leisurely stroll, a run, a bike ride, an afternoon picnic. I have even held a few on my Childs birthday parties there. You can reserve an area that is covered and has a grill... More

I love the trails at Moraine Hills! I have been walking these trails for about 20 years. They are my favorite in the area. It is so beautiful to walk during all seasons but especially during fall. I love training for half marathons here but also love taking leisurely strolls here after dinner with our family and friends.

What a great place! I started out hiking (which I love) but ended up strolling because it's just so darn pretty! It's huge so you have a lot of trails/paths to choose from and beautiful natural areas. There are picnic tables throughout, at the pull in parking lots. Even with many families grilling and hanging out it was still serene.... More
