We have been coming to the Arboretum since my kids were little. The children’s garden has them non stop running and exploring. Their classes are some of the best we’ve been to. The grounds and paths are well maintained for walking, running, or biking. There’s...More

Drove over from Chicago - very warm high 90's. Troll Hunt was advertised. Craftmanship was amazing and huge trolls in unique settings were fun to look for. So many different trees, lakes - what a beautiful setting. Saw a wedding on site.

The Troll Hunt is one of my favorites events. I hiked both sides of the arboretum. Some troll locations are a bit challenging for younger children. If bringing small children, drive & park. Use parking lots on the troll map. Happy hunting.

I have belonged to the Morton Arboretum for many years. I also have painted and exhibited with their Nature Artists' Guild for many years. I love that I can drive 20 min away and be in a wilderness! I object to the very high entry...More
