We stood on the beach and watched as the figures vanished from sight into the sea. Nice walk. Gormley's works are amazing.

I wasn't quite sure how I felt about these statues. The tide was in and we walked along the path where there was some with just a head showing some slightly out and the one right at the end all out of the water. I...More

We came here on a cold damp December morning and the light wasn’t great but certainly added to the spectacle. A marvellous installation.

A spectacle worth seeing. Surprised by the size and the area covered but this only added to the impact. Be sure to go at low tide !

We went to Crosby to see the Iron Men. The concept is very impressive, with all the men looking out to sea. The exhibition has been there for a number of years and, whilst they are showing signs of age being covered in barnacles, this...More

I am very familiar with The Angel of The North and was thrilled to see Antony Gormley's Another Place on Crosby Beach. The tide was in so most of the statues were submerged but visible. One statue was out of the sea so we had...More

A remarkable installation. We visited when the tide was out and were surprised by how many statues there are. It might be interesting to get an opportunity at some time to view them with the tide partially in.

Unsure on the price, but no more that £5 for a return I would imagine. If you travel after 9:30am I think train prices are cheaper. It takes 20mins on the train from southport to Blundellsands and Crosby station. The titanic... More
