If you are used to your typical amusement park (Cedar Point, Kings Island, Other Six Flags), then you won't be surprised with this park. Parking is expensive, tickets are expensive and food is expensive. Shop around for deals for this park. Often they run coke/pepsi...More

We bought season passes last year and again this year for our four MI grandchildren. They spend 5-7 days with us during the summer. Once we got familiar with the park, it was easier to choose the rides. The water park's wave pool was a...More

We love roller coasters, and this park has a great collection. Between the fun wooden roller coaster collection (i.e. American Eagle and Goliath) and the park's top steel roller coasters (i.e. X-Flight, Raging Bull, etc.), this amusement park packs quite the punch for thrill-seekers. For...More

I'm a life long seasons pass holder. The park is nowhere near the glorious place it was 25 years ago. I can't remember the last time I saw a character walking around. What used to be beautifully manicured gardens are now poorly neglected weed patches...More

It's a shame the weather was cold, but that kept the crowds down. Two different sections with craft beer and delicious food. I give Six Flags credit for trying something new, and would like to see this continue. We had few issues with rides being...More

So disappointed in the “fine print” of a membership change this year for 2018 Season Passes. Apparently to redeem your passes and the Labor Day flash sale online, you have to physically activate your 2018 season pass this year by November 19th. No rationale for...More

This is the first time great America has stayed open in November. Just skip this poorly executed event and save yourself some cash. This is not fright fest part 2. This is a park where most attractions are lready closed for the season. You will...More

For the roller coaster junkie, this place is great. All different styles with plenty of options. Don't leave the park without riding the Whizzer. Old and slow but still gives a thrill the old fashion way.

We have not been there in a few years but decided to get family passes again - glad we did. We got to enjoy Fright Fest 2017 and it really puts you in the fall mood for the season. Yes, it's packed but still a...More

Very unlikely. There are too many coasters and the wait times can be lengthy. You do however have the availability to purchase a fast pass which enables you to go to the front of the lines.

I would recommend cedar point over six flags. Alot more fun at cedar point. I would think that he would not be able to get in for free this year. They do offer bring a friend free and discount days during the regular season... More
