The temple is midst of the trees, offering peace and devotion. There are multiple temple like Kuber, Kedar, Durga, Mahakaleshwar and Jyotirling. It was quite cold but the darshan was amazing.

It is the group of 125 temples situated on the banks of river Jata Ganga in Jageshwar, Almora District of Uttrakhand State in India. It is around 30km drive from Almora. Jageshwar is considered as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and it lies on the ancient route of Kailash Mansarovar. It is said that Jagat Guru Adi Shankarcharya came here and re-established the sanctity of this place. Two of the main temples are Shri Jyotirlinga Jageshwar Temple and Shri Maha Mrityunjaya Temple. Other Gods and Goddess names can be read from inscriptions written on rock slabs by the Archaeological Survey of India. These 125 temples are of different architectural styles and were built from the 7th to the 18th century. Once you enter the site, an amazing view of small and large temples fascinate you to explore them. The place was calm and serene. As per old tradition, a sign board shows the sequence one should follow while visiting the temples. So we visited the Shri Jyotirlinga Jageshwar Temple first and later Shri Maha Mrityunjaya Temple. Lotus Pond is full of blossomed Lotus flowers. A small river named Jata Ganga flows adjacent to the Temple making pleasant water sounds. We had multiple pictures all around. Photography inside temples is not allowed. One can do Pooja in two main temples with all Hindu rituals. The Temples here are not that crowded as we have in other parts of India. This is a must visit place if you are near Nainital. The other group of Temples are Dandeshwar Group of Temples situated near by on the route from Almora.

It's an amazing historical, spiritual holy place so visit this place with pure heart and intentions, respect nature, feel the peace within when you are in between 125 small temples, beware of monkeys and do not let kids hold the Prasad or wear googles within premises.

Absolutely amazing place. Mesmerizing architecture. I have never seen so many temples in one place. This is a hidden gem deep inside the forest. Lovely place. Very peaceful and tranquil too. I was able to sit quietly in one corner and meditate for a long time. Didn't even realize how fast the time went by. I will surely visit this place every time I visit India.

Lovely place. Great vibes. I was happy that the original beauty of the temples is retained and not overcome by modernization. Definitely a must visit place.

The temple complex in total has 125 small and big temples spread over a considerable area, the main temple and few other small temples are in a small localized area. The drive is beautiful and then when reaches the temple it is the diving feeling. The pooja is done by priests in a very simple and nice manner, the temple complex is clean and one can feel the serenity of the place. Very old complex and must visit, by the way most impressive thing was that there was no beggars around.
