My wife LOVED this store in an old house. Many unique items with a specialty of home decor. Nothing that you see in every store, but truly unique and interesting displays and items. Free food and coffee samples also.

This is just too cute of a place to not visit in Geneva. I can always find something in one of the shops. Was in town recently (we used to live here) and dragged my husband. He found somethings also. It has the charm that it had 30 years ago. Except no longer serving lunch in the shops. That was... More

On a recent trip to Chicago we had an opportunity to visit friends in Geneva. We stopped at the Little Traveler. Initially intending just to “look around” we ended up shopping not only for ourselves, but picking up lots of unique gifts as Christmas presents. What a charming house! Every room is different and each has unique and useful items.... More

I've been to the Little Traveler countless times, since I live close-by. It is a huge old historic house that contains many little shops as well as a quaint restaurant. (If you go for Sunday brunch, there are cinnamon rolls to die for). You can get so many different things here--jewelry, coffee, tea, candy, kitchen wares, purses, toiletries, ornaments, furnishings--the... More

My go to is the petite luncheon plate which includes a drink and a bowl of their delicious soup. Their sandwiches and salads are all excellent. They also make their own pies in... More

Every shop is unique, tastefully displayed items to buy. For me, it is eye candy. Cannot leave without buying something in one of the shop, maybe a piece of costume jewelry, a bottle of wine, or a Christmas décor, the list goes on.

When you experience the Little Traveler, you realize that the Old can meet the New and be most successful. This is an old historic building that has been made into all kinds of nooks and crannies, rooms dedicated to specific items, special Christmas selections year round, a very quaint restaurant and so much to see and experience, that I can't... The Little Traveller in Geneva, IL is known for it's fine assortment of shopping. They also have a Juliet Day for 6 or more friends. Book with them ahead and they will treat you to a $20 coupon, dessert or drink at lunch, and a choice of fashion advice, wine tasting, or flower arranging. 10% of our purchases that day... More
