We travel a lot, look for little bits of history here and there. This park is well maintained and a nice little side trip. Ice cream shop next door is a plus too

Freeport, Illinois was the location of the second of the Lincoln Douglas debates. The community has created a nice and informative tribute to the debate. If you are in the area, it is worth visiting here.

Tiny little park and easy sight-seeing opportunity. Well done markers that explain a piece of our political history. As other reviews have stated, do not miss Union Dairy next door! Their Coconut Explosion is incredible!!!
