We loved being here in the fall and seeing the changing colors. There are a couple of different driving loops through the park. There's hiking and biking trails however there are lots of hills.... So electric assist bicycle is the way to go. Beautiful man-made waterfall, bridges, several playgrounds, sculpture garden, and bathroom facilities. I would love to go back in the summer and actually do some of the mini golfing and kayaking …

I first visited Krape park back in the 80's as a kid and when we want back to Illinois to visit family in 2020 it was great to see my kid enjoy the park like I had. Lots of things to do and conveniently located in town.

Hiking trails surrounding hilly park with stream running through it. Great waterfall on west end of park. Amphitheater features live entertainment for free on many summer weekends including an excellent traditional Independence Day celebration complete with cannons. Disc golf, mini golf, baseball fields and a brand new carousel. Bring bug spray for gnats in late May-June and mosquitoes most of summer. Otherwise, enjoy.…
