Escape the rain and discover the beauty of the Gouffre d’Esparros. The tunnels and galleries are covered in crystal formations and there are some impressive stalactites & stalagmites. The visit is animated with lights and music and by a tour guide who explains (in French) how the crystals are formed. I heard that they also offer tours in English but... More

Bit chilly in the caves. All in French with no handy signs in English. If your not into geology forget it.

Really worth the trip - even the scenery taking you to the caverns is exceptional. The staff were really helpful and informative. They do have English tour guides but we went along with the french group and were able to discern the general information. Amazing formations.

Beautiful cave full of chrystal "flowers". Guided one hour tours start each hour. Local guide was really motivated and professional. As you move through the cave, the tour is followed by musical and light effects. The best part was when he led us to the huge "concert hall", turned off the lights and asked us to listen to the perfect... More
