The woods remind me of being in the country. The bike/walking paths are well kept. Being there is like taking a one day vacation.

Unfortunately we did not get to stay as long as I'd like to check out this beautiful park. We had taken our dogs here to wear them out but I will say the park is clean, the trails are nice - we will definitely be...More

What a cool place to go on a hot day! Explore the woods and discover nature in its pristine form. Great for walking or trail biking.

A large selection of trails to choose from, as well as several lakes for canoeing or fishing. Mileage on the trails varies, some in a loop.

I have been riding Busse Woods Trail System since I was a kid. It was fun to do it again some 15 years later. While much has changed in the areas that the trail goes through it's still a great trail to ride or walk

It is approximately halfway through the woods on Higgins Ave. North of Higgins. Go to the Forest Preserve District of Cook County website: fpdcc. Here is a link to a map: downloads/maps/pdf/bw_trailmap.pdf
