The Chicago river is wonderful with a green water and the big buildings along it. You can see a lot of attractions by boat. It's important to buy a trip in direction to the Michigan Lake also, because when you look and see alll the...More

Chicago architecture is world-renowned, and uniquely accessible via branches of the Chicago River. I've been on architectural boat tours in Chicago before. The best use docents trained by an architectural society of some kind. I had heard (via a tourism app) of this tour on...More

Good route to see the architecture of downtown Chicago. I took the cruise tour. It would be also great just walk along the river bank.

One word.. Marvelous! I learned so much. The woman telling us about the architecture, knew her stuff. I went to the Architectural Center the next day to research some of the buildings and my landmarked hotel building. What a resource!

The Riverwalk was right across from my hotel, we used this route to get to and from restaurants for dinner. Very cool. I can really appreciate a city that makes the most of it's location. Nicely done, Chicago!

The River tour is an excellent way to look at the amazing Chicago buildings. The guide on the architecture tour was a fountain of knowledge and I learnt a lot. This was one of the most interesting river tours I've done. Well done.

Though it was a cool windy morning, the architect tour lead by Javier was well worth the time. He had great insight and offered intriguing stories about the buildings along the way.

We knew before we arrived that there was a river in Chicago, and that they had boat tours on it, but we hadn't appreciated how beautiful it was. When we were there, the water was a nice colour and looked very inviting. One thing we...More
