We did the lakefront neighborhood tour on Saturday May 27. The tour was great and well organized from making reservations to getting equipment and bike fitting. Our guide was Ardarius and he was phenomenal. His knowledge of the city and its history was great.. He lead the tour thru difficult areas and traffic with ease. Would recommend this trip was... We rented two hybrids from Bobby's for an afternoon. The place is tucked away in a courtyard, but we had found it on line. It is close to the lakefront trails which we wanted to ride. The staff was very friendly and helpful even though they were busy over the Memorial Day weekend. Our bikes were in nice shape and... More

We rode with Michelle on a recent Friday afternoon Lakefront Neighborhoods bike tour and had a great time! Excellent equipment, clear instructions and superb guidance from someone obviously proud and passionate about her city. The others on our tour were fun and friendly, we rode through so many wonderful neighborhoods and learned little tidbits along the way. Book this tour... More

The best part of our weekend trip to Chicago was Bobby's Bike Hike - the foodie version. Liz was our tour guide and she was awesome! I learned so much about the city and got to eat incredible food, while burning some of it off on the bike!

Orignally we thought that a 4hr tour on a bike would be a bit much - but it was a great way to see the city and a few of the off the beaten track locales. From the FRESH perogies to the Chicago Handshake (I suggest doing it 2-3 times to really get the full experience) then ending on the... More

Thirteen mile City and Lakefront bike tour. Good pace by guide, with strategic rest stops to describe arts, cultural, architectural, and historic aspects of the City. Some street cycling, but group movement provides a safer experience. Terrain is flat, so makes for much easier peddling. Great outdoor exercise option for travelers, instead of going into a hotel gym. Also, the... More

A lot of fun and very informative. We got to see a lot. Luckily we had great weather. There were so many areas of Chicago that I didn't know existed. It was amazing to see Lake Michigan with city buildings in the background. I especially liked being able to spend time at the zoo.

I biked with our 10 year old daughter through downtown Chicago, Old Town and along the Lakeshore ... easy for her to navigate and not hard at all! Highly recommend for your Chicago experience!!

My husband and I chose the Bikes & Bites Tour. It was my first time visiting Chicago and I wanted to sample the classic Chicago foods, like the Pizza and Hot Dog. We stopped several times to sample eats and drinks. The food was delicious! Our guide was Daniella. She was training a new guide, named Courtney. They were both... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
