This is a must see when in Chicago. The store occupies the old Shriner Medinah Temple where many high school graduations and circuses were held before McCormick Place was built. The original architecture and windows are preserved. Staff is happy to see visitors admiring interior....More

This is an old temple turned into a department store specializing on home and furniture items. Its very nice and complete with anything needed for a home. Nice espresso bar from Nespresso. I go there to get mine anytime I am in town.

Thank you Bloomingdales for saving this old temple that was about to be torn down. You made it a show piece for you home line and it is beautiful . All the employee are friendly and helpful. Loved the "coffee guy" from Nespresso.

Wife was here to shop. I was fascinated by the building. Built in 1912 as a Shrine Temple and repurposed as a department store. Has the appearance of an old Venetian palace. Definitely worth a look.

If the outside is beautiful as the inside contains just about everything you can imagine in what comes to furnishings and kitchen equipment. Very service minded staff as usually at Bloomingdale's. It 's just hope that it can handle the competition from all web shopping.

I first went to this location in the 1980s when it was the Medinah Temple to see Shari Lewis and her puppets. Now it houses the Bloomingdale's Home & Furniture Store. You can still see remnants of the old Temple if you go up to...More
