Stopped in to Snickers after having dinner at Siena Tavern (walking distance). Definitely has an old school vibe (not "cash only" but will definitely be quicker if you have cash). Full bar and cold beer - prices are a little higher (esp for a dive),...More

Stopped in to watch the end of a Cubs game and grab a burger and fries during a business trip to downtown Chicago. Snickers reminded me of an old pizza joint in my home town. Nothing fancy but clean and decent food. I ordered a...More

You feel like this place doesn't belong to the neighborhood when you first enter. A throwback to a different time. But, it was a pleasant surprise to be greeted by the bartender and everyone seemed friendly here. A place for real locals. The decor is...More

We happened upon Snickers when we were looking for somewhere quickly for breakfast, and saw on the menu that they did what we were looking for! There was a lovely girl serving behind the bar, and she made us feel really welcome - I’m really...More

Stopped in for a quick drink to meet some locals we knew and staid. No pretences here, just a bar with good folks and decent food. Depending on the crowd it can be a pretty lively place! Not gold plated but then neither am I!

Would not recommend this bar. A draft beer is $7, the ambience leaves much to be desired and service was below average. I settled on going here in search of a decent happy hour when every other spot around it was super busy. There's a...More

We popped into this bar as we fancied a quick drink.... it was a quick drink. The bar wasn't the smartest I have been in and full of locals that looked like they had been there all day. Staff were OK, again had better service...More
