The Joffrey's final performance of the season was literally magical–laughing and crying at the beauty of it all all at the same time. Planning on Giselle for certain for next season; and the Auditorium Theatre directly across from Grant Park, the Joffrey's home performance venue and part of Roosevelt University, is an historic stunner designed by iconic Chicago architect Louis... Stop by and look at the studios, then stay and participate in a wonderful ballet lesson for children or Adults alike. Most classes feature a live piano player and exceptional teachers. Adult beginners to advanced classes offered 7 days a week.

Amazing! I've never been to a ballet before so consider this a rather naive review but well worth a visit if you are in the area during the holiday season. The sets were beautiful. I had to drag my husband to the ballet but I don't think he ended up minding it in the end! ;)

We flew to Chicago from California and Colorado for Christopher Wheeldon's new Nutcracker performed by the incredible Joffrey Ballet - and it was an over the top performance and experience. The Gala after opening nite was a 'feast' for the senses. Bravo! We have also experienced Christopher's magic through the Vail, CO Dance Festival. I have loved Joffrey Ballet Company... More

Beautiful production of Christmas classic even at nosebleed seats. Plan ahead for next year to get better seats. I've also seen their other productions earlier this year. If you love classic and modern ballet it's worth the tickets. Better yet become a subscriber. Always a beautiful and professional productions this company have.

The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago is a company of consistently high quality dancers and creative artistry. From classics to modern performances, they don't disappoint. They perform at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago which is easy to get to, and there is plenty of parking, restaurants, and other attractions nearby.

Every October Chicago architects host OPEN HOUSE CHICAGO...an opportunity to tour MANY Chicago landmarks and business behind the scenes. If you get the opportunity to participate at the Joffrey Tower you will see rehearsal rooms, costumes and meeting rooms. You will get a feel for the amount of work that needs to happen to keep the show going.

I highly recommend taking n a Joffrey Ballet performance. The dancers are exquisite. The sets are beautifully designed. People young and old enjoy this production. The matinees are perfect for families with younger children. We have seen the Nutcracker and Cinderella. With plans to return again this fall for Romeo and Juliet.

Decided to go to the Saturday performance. Ticket purchased the same morning, seat up close and perfect, packed house, champagne, music, dancing excellent. Didn't want it to end. Bought a tee shirt souvenir. As an aside, lost my scarf there. Called the office later, got a call back and picked up my scarf a few days later. Very nice.
